 I have been kept very busy by this little one over the past couple of weeks...

Leaver's Ball and Leaver's Hoodies
With regards to the Leaver's Ball, if you haven't paid for your ticket yet, Tucasi will remain open till the end of August, so you have plenty of time to pay for your ticket. 

 You'll also be pleased to know that the hoodies have finally been dispatched and are on their way to school. I haven't quite worked out what will be the safest way for you to come and pick these up yet but I'll let you know once I've hatched a plan.

Integral Maths are hosting a transition course to support students who have studied A level Mathematics and are progressing to an undergraduate degree course in maths, engineering, physics or a related subject. The course will help you consolidate some essential A level Mathematics skills and learn more about topics you may experience early in their university programmes. The course will also include suggested wider reading to explore these themes in greater depth.

Transitioning from A Levels to Higher Education

Over the next 12 weeks HEON will be focusing heavily on the transition that students may make into further/higher education.

The team at HEON have been working tirelessly over the last month to bring a menu of online resources/workshops to our Outreach Hub for students making the transition into Higher Education.

The first round of workshops/resources in their series have been released this week and will be followed up with new additions every week for the next 12 weeks.

Good afternoon Year 13, I hope you're all happy and well and maintaining some sort of routine. If you haven't already, you'll be hearing from your tutor over the next week for a quick catch up. They'll be calling your parents but if you're around, it'd be lovely for you to have a quick chat with your tutors too. Good evening Year 13 and a happy bank holiday to you all. There are some pretty important reminders and messages in this bulletin so if you know that some of your friends are unlikely to read this, please pass on the important messages. Your tutors will also be reinforcing some of these messages in our next round of phone calls in two weeks. 1. Leaver's Ball and Mass I have managed to book a new date for the Leaver's Ball 🕺 which is now  Wednesday 9th September.   The plan is for you to have your Leaver's Mass during the day followed by the Ball in the evening so please keep the whole day free. N.B. If this date can not go ahead due to restrictions still being in place, then the back up plan is to hold the Mass and Ball on Thursday 17th December, when you're home for the Holidays.
